Here in El Paso, we are not used to the rain so when we are hit with unseasonal rain showers or any inclement weather it is important that we are prepared and handle the situation safely and correctly. There are many factors that our drivers have to take into account when it rains here in El Paso. They will perform an inspection on the truck before leaving the yard to see if the water has had any impact on operating the vehicle safely. The crane and its components will also be inspected making sure everything is in tip-top shape. Most importantly the drivers will take into account the effect the rain will have on the roads and other drivers and practice their defensive driving skills. Coming to a safe stop with a large truck is different than stopping in a car. The weight of the truck and the load requires the driver to anticipate the speed they approach every intersection. This is even more of a focus with the wet roads due to the rain. Western Precast drivers take this into effect every time they get behind the wheel of their truck.
Something that could easily be overlooked when it comes to bad weather is the condition of the job sites we are delivering to. Most of the areas our drivers deliver the product to are undeveloped. Meaning there are no paved roads and sometimes there are not even dirt roads. With nothing but dirt and sand, the rain can cause a lot of muddy and dangerous situations for our drivers. Our drivers will work and communicate with customers to make sure that every delivery will not only be unloaded safely but the crane truck will be able to enter and leave the job site without any issues.

Estar Preparado Para El Mal Tiempo
Aqu ien El Paso, no estamos acostumbrados a la lluvia, porlo que cuando nos golpean lluvias fuera de temporada o cualquier clima inclemente, es importante que estemos preparados y manejemos la situación de manera seguray correcta. Hay muchos factores que nuestros conductores deben tener en cuenta cuando llueve aqui en El Paso. Realízarán una inspección en el camión antes de salir del patio para ver si el agua ha tenido algún impacto en la operación segura del vehiculo. la grúa y sus componentes tambien seran inspeccionados para asegurarse de que todo este en óptimas condiciones. Lo mas importante es que los conductores tendran en cuenta el efecto que tendra la lluvia en las carreterasy otros conductores y practicaran sus habilidades de conducción defensiva. Llegar a una parada segura con un camión grande es diferente a detenerse en un automóvil. Elpeso del camión y la carga requiere que el conductor anticipe la velocidad a la que se aproxima a cada intersección. Esto es aún mas importante con las carreteras mojadas debido a la lluvia. Los conductores de Western Precast tienen esto en cuenta cada vez que se ponen al volante de su camión.
Algo qu epodria pasarse por alto facilmente cuando se trata de mal tiempo es la condición de los sitios de trabajo a los que estamos entregando. La mayoría de las areas en las que nuestros conductores entregan productos no están desarrolladas. lo que significa que no hay caminos pavimentados y, a veces, ni siquiera hay caminos de tierra. Con nada mas que tierra y arena, la lluvia puede causar muchas situaciones embarradas y peligrosas para nuestros conductores. Nuestros conductores trabajaran y se comunicaran con nuestros dientes para asegurarse de que cada entrega no solo se descargue de manera segura, sino que el camión grúa pueda entrar y salir del lugar de trabajo sin ningún problema.
