More Than Numbers
As a project estimator, Gisel Ceniceros spends her days calculating pipe sizes, manholes, and storm and sanitary systems. But for her, the role has opened up a new way of seeing her city. “I know a lot more about how El Paso works now,” she says. “How rainwater is managed, how roads are built, even how funding comes together so everything functions as one system.”
Her motivation is rooted in growth. “I want to show people I’m in this to make a difference,” she explains. “To be more than who I was yesterday.”
Her favorite moment so far? “Meeting the girls,” she smiles. “We had lunch together, and it was nice to feel that sense of team.”
Off the clock, she’s a self-proclaimed foodie and TikTok creator.
“I love trying new restaurants and reviewing them,” she says. “But at the end of the day, I’m a family person first.”
