Our Winter 2021 newsletter features Martin Sanchez,Production Foreman, who began his journey with Western Precast back in 2013. A native of Juarez, Mexico, Martin joined us after a 15-year long career as a pharmacy tech in our sister city before his move El Paso in 2012. He describes the change in occupation as liberating, and enjoy the fact that Western has provided him with a daily dose of learning something exciting and new each day. Today,Martin has learned the entire operation of our business and says he truly enjoys every aspect of his job.
Aside From work, Martin enjoys the event that Western Precast is known to put on for its employees, and says his favorites from years past have been the washer tournament and the Thanksgiving Turkey giveaway. Overall, he shares that the best thing about working here is the fact that the company truly cares for its employees. Martin looks to continue growing with us and for the moment, says he would like to obtain his crane operator license and ultimately, build on his production experience. When he’s not spending quality time with his family, he enjoys picking and selling pecans with his family at a local farm. We enjoy having Martin here at Western and appreciate his valuable contributions to our company.

Nativo de Juarez,Mexico, Martin se uniό con nosotros después de una carrera de 15 años comofarmaceutico en nuestra cuidad hermana antes demudarse a El Paso en 2012. El describe el cambio de ocupaciόn como liberador, y disfruta el hecho que Western le ha proporcionado una dosis diaria de aprender algo nuevo y emocionante cada día.Ahora, Martin ha aprendido todo el funcionamiento de nuestro negocio y dice que realmente disfruta cada aspecto de su trabajo.
Aparte del trabajo,Martin disfruta los eventos que Western Precast es conocido de poner para sus empleados, y dice que su favorito de años pasados ha sido el torneo de arandelas y el sorteo de pavos para El Día deAcciόn de Gracias.En general, comparte que lo mejor de trabajar aquí es el hecho que la empresa realmente se preocupa por sus empleados. Martin busca de continuar de crecer con nosotros y por el momento, dice que le gustaria obtener su licencia de operador de grúa y ultimamente, construir sobre su experiencia de producciόn. Cuando no pasatiempo de calidad con su familia, el disfruta recoger y vender nueces en una granja local junto con su familia. Disfrutamos tener a Martin aquí en Western y agradecemos sus valiosas contribuciones a nuestra empresa!
