Western Precast Bids Farewell & Best Wishes

Best wishes and good will to departing employee Salvador Lozano who resigned his position after some 15 years to pursue an opportunity to advance his career in the concrete field. Salvador was a trusted and valued employee who served with pride and professionalism in the finishing department most of this time at Western Precast.

Best wishes and farewell to Martin Alderette who served most recently as Quality Control Manager. Martin was a staff member at Western Precast for over 12 years and began as a laborer and quickly worked his way up into a management position. Marin will be missed, but we are all happy for him in his new endeavors in the concrete field.

Marco Torrez, a son of Fred Torrez our Shipping Manager was here as an intern during the summer of 2006. Marco proved to be a dependable young man who lent a hand in all departments. Marco is a 2006 graduate of Socorro High School and is a first year student at the University of Dallas and hopes to become a physical therapist. His father Alfredo has been a staff member with Western Precast for over 16 years. We will miss Marco and we wish him the very best.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family of Rafael Hernandez who recently lost his life in a tragic auto accident. Rafael, “Rafa”, was a valued employee who worked in the shipping department and had been with Western Precast for seven years. Rafa will always be remembered fondly by our staff and his presence will be always missed.
